CHAMBERS MOTORS 1904-1929

The only published account of Irish manufacturer, Chambers Motors. For the first ten years of their existance, Chambers Motors were able to boost that they were the only company manufacturing cars in Ireland. Their cars were of the highest calibre, built by skilled craftsmen from the finest materials. They incorporated a unique design of epicyclic gearbox in the rear axle for most of their production run. But, like so many small firms they failed to survive the onslaught of the mass-production car.
