EARLY MOTORING IN IRELAND

From the arrival of the first car - a Serpollet Steamer - into Ireland in 1896, Irish motorists were to the forefront of the great new adventure of motoring. Their early explorations and many trials and tribulations only served to strengthen their enthusiasm as they travelled to the farthest and most remote corners of Ireland.
