RJ MECREDY - The Father of Irish Motoring

RJ Mecredy was the single most influential figure in the early days of Irish cycling and motoring and was the prime mover in many of the key events of the time. A champion cyclist, writer and journalist, his enthusiastic love of Ireland and the open road influenced many and did much to open up the country to tourism.
