THE CURRAGH MOTOR RACES 1947-1954
Two circuits were used on the Curragh for motor racing between the years 1947 and 1954. The most important races held there were for the Wakefield Trophy and attracted most of the top Irish and British drivers of the time, ensuring memorable and exciting racing over the fast and challenging 'Big' circuit.
