THE DUNDROD TT RACES 1950-1955

In 1950 the Ulster Automobile Club brought back to Northern Ireland the famous Tourist Trophy Races that had been held so successfully at the Ards Circuit between 1928 and 1936. As John S Moore recalls, the Dundrod Circuit proved to be a severe test of men and machine. It attracted many of the greatest drivers of the day and produced a number of classic confrontations on the six occasions the race was run between 1950 and 1955.
