The races held on the limerick city street circuit in 1935, 1936 and 1938, were arguably, together with the three Irish Grand Prix held in Dublin's Phoenix Park, the most significant of the Irish races, and attracted an excellent overseas entry as well as all of the top Irish drivers. Their story is told for the first time in Bob Montgomery's entralling account of the three events.
